Preposition Practice As a Lead Instructor, Charles has worked for the Metro North ESL program for the past 20 years. He has expanded the curriculum to include the use of computer technology in literacy training so that, in addition to basic English skills, all of the students have the opportunity to gain some computer literacy.
Charles LaRue created web-based presentations that describe how we use common prepositions: in, on, at, next to, etc for describing where things are; and in, on, at, before and after to describe when things occur. He also created practice exercises which teach and reinforce the distinctions between these vocabulary words and the distinction between it and they. These interactive web based exercises provide students with an opportunity to individually practice their understanding of both written and spoken questions and answering using prepositions in English.
